Praying Mantis Animal Totem

As we incorporated the powerful energy from today’s ( 7/30/2013) Grand Sextile  or the Star of David into our body, mind and spirit, and Mother Earth.  We decided to slow our pace down and allow this energy to flow naturally, and in the process we saw a Praying Mantis on our left shoulder. According to one message, the Praying Mantis represents: The Power of Stillness.

The Praying Mantis teaches how to still the outer mind and go within ourselves.
Through this, we can draw upon greater power —
physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.
That stillness can be simple contemplation or meditation or even dreaming.

Healers often have Praying Mantis totems — for they use
their inner stillness to focus their healing power.

The greatest lesson this totem teaches is patience.
Learning to wait for the right moment before striking.

The last time we experienced a Grand Sextile of this magnitude was in February 07, 1945 towards the end of the Second World War. In fact, there were secret meetings taking place between Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill & Stalin to discuss post-war reorganization after the fall of Germany at that time. See the Yalta Conference, codenamed the Argonaut Conference, for more details. Although the interpretation of this many aspects is incredibly complex, most astrologers see the Grand Sextile as setting the stage with favorable conditions for sweeping changes. Let’s hope for something special!
