A black man in the streets fights on the front lines

A black man from the white house hosts beer summit on the front lawn

A black man in the streets have seen with his eyes of the coming of the Lord

A black man from the white house greets black religious leaders

A black man in the streets was joined by thousands of people black white Jew and gentile

on the Lincoln Memorial

A black man from the white house cried when he offers his girl Oprah a cup of coffee

Mel Brake is an awarding winning Philadelphia based poet/singer/song writer, whose poetry has appeared in several media outlets and journals, including Philadelphia Poets 2007, 2008 and 2009, Mad Poets Review, Fox Chase Review, and The Philadelphia Bulletin.
