May 01-04, 2014: Celebrating Beltane

Beltane is one of the most important days in nature’s wheel of life. It’s a celebration of love, fertility, faeries, The May Queen or the wedding of the Goddess, “No Time”, fire of Bel or bright fire or return of life the earth after winter, The May Pole or union of masculine and feminine. Beltane is one of the four major celebrations of the four-quarter cross between the Solstices and Equinoxes. The Grand Cardinal Cross is still in effect during this Beltane 2014.

Mel Brake is an awarding winning Philadelphia based poet/singer/song writer, whose poetry has appeared in several media outlets and journals, including Philadelphia Poets 2007, 2008 and 2009, Mad Poets Review, Fox Chase Review, and The Philadelphia Bulletin.
