Heads Up! Nationwide GridEx III Exercise On November 18-19th

November 18-19, 2015, another GridEx, this is GridExIII.

The first grid security exercise took place in November 2011. NERC conducted its second industry-wide grid security exercise, GridEx II, in November 2013. These geographically distributed exercises are designed to provide an opportunity for utilities to demonstrate how they would respond to simulated coordinated cyber and physical security threats and incidents, strengthen their crisis communications relationships, and provide input for lessons learned.

Some of the major US cities and metro area included in the Nationwide GridEx III.
