Huge 8.3 earthquake off central Chile coast prompts tsunami watch in Hawaii

Unfortunately 337 dead Sei whales beached on the coast of Chile, this was reported December 03, 2015. Predictions say that Chile will be hit by another major earthquake.

September 16, 2015 a very large earthquake stroke off the coast of Chile, the quake is reported to be 8.3 magnitude according to RT News.

A powerful 8.3 magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of central Chile, the United States Geological Survey reports. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has issued a tsunami watch for the state of Hawaii.

“Based on the preliminary earthquake parameters … widespread hazardous tsunami waves are possible,” the Warning Center said, adding that greatest danger was for Chile and Peru.
