August 28, 2021
We have not written about the latest space weather activity but with the new information its time to share our point of view.
For the next several days a series of CMEs will directly strike the Earth because of Sunspot 2860 is directly facing us and producing filaments, solar flares and CMEs.
Yesterday, geomagnetic activity was on the rise with a G1 storm from the CME that hit the Earth.
Today Sunspot 2860 produced a very powerful M4.7 solar flare which will produce another CME to make a direct hit on the Earth. Previously, a CME was by the same sunspot produced a C7.3 solar flare.
The C7.3 solar flare and its compendium double CME should reach the Earth by August 31, 2021.
But that’s not all folks to coin a frame, the M4.7 solar flare from today resulted in a radio wave black out over Asia and its impact and CME has yet to be determined but it magnitude was much greater than the previous C7.3 solar flare.
From NOAA D Region Absorption Predictions:
As we brace ourselves in the next few days prepare for Earth changing events such as earthquake, volcanoes and weather anomalies from solar bombs that will strike the Earth.
